Being Hussaini (A.S)

 

By the end of Zilhajj, every Muslim feels a grievous air travels through their body, this is the sign of Muharram ul Haraam’s beginning.

We begin to remember again that How Hussain (A.S) saved our religion Islam and he sacrificed himself and his family.

Shedding tears in the remembrance of Hussain (A.S) is our prime importance this month. As Imam Jafar al-Sadiq said:

 "One who sheds tears when Imam Hussain (A.S) is mentioned before him will be rewarded by Allah Himself, even if his tears are as small as the wing of a fly. And Allah will not be pleased with any reward for him less than Paradise."

From the above saying, you can surmise that how important it is to have some respect for this month.

We are Muslims if have faith in Ahle Bait because those are the ones who tried to their last breath just to save Islam. Otherwise, we have the wrong belief about Islam ad its history.

So being Hussaini (A.S) shut down all other activities in the sorrowful days of Muharram. For the few days pay attention to the history and all the sacrifices for Islam. Feel how your family will bear when you brutally murdered at the time of your marriage, the slaps on the delicate cheeks of a little girl, amputating the arms of a young warrior, the body was cut into many pieces, the dragging in the streets towards the shrine of Yazeed, the restriction of the water, starting the fire in the tents and the end decollate while he was bowing in reverence of Allah.

They knew from the very beginning that this will happen but just to save Islam and to fulfill Allah’s order they became determined and sacrificed their lives.

From this, the hypocrisy of yazeed and all the pretender Muslims of that time exposed, and Islam was saved eternally.

Alhamdullilah we are Muslims.
